2026 Mowing Rates

Due to increases in our maintenance costs, we have to readjust our rates for new contract customers. These rate changes do not impact current clients for the 2026 season!

Local (Dresden, Putnam, Whitehall, Ticonderoga)

• $70 per hour weekly
• $140 per hour bi-weekly

Non-local

• $85 per hour weekly
• $170 per hour bi-weekly

Grass Clips Bagging

• $50 minimum, on site disposal only at this time. Must be requested.

Rate lock

• Once we establish your property to our standards, we will lock your rate in for the remainder of the season. This is rate will be based on the time it takes one person to complete the job, unless we feel we need two people each time.

**Remember, we are RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, HONEST, family owned business servicing commercial, residential, and local governmental properties, etc.

2026 Service Rates

Additional services are reserved for our contract clients, most of the time. Visit our FAQ for more information. 
Spring and Fall Clean Up

• $100 per hour, on site disposal only at this time.
• Other clean up services (beach, courts, etc.) are based on the type and size of clean up required.

Aeration and Seeding

• $75 per hour for aeration
• $75 per hour for seeding, plus cost of seed
  
  • ​We can help you pick a suitable seed or you can select your own.
    

Garden Maintenance

• Mulch
  • $100 per hour, plus cost of mulch/ materials
• Weeding
  • $100 per hour
  • On site disposal only to reduce risk of introducing weeds to other locations.
• Pruning
  • $60 per hour, on site disposal only at this time.

Pruning and Hedge Trimming- pricing varies, but typically:

• $60 per hour, plus:
• $20 per small plant (ground-3' tall)
• $25 per medium plant (3-5' tall)
• $30 per large plant (up to 8' tall)
• Bulk pricing available, depending on project
• Prices may increase depending on width of plant

Small Area Brush Removal

• $120 per hour minimum, may be more depending on complexity.  

​Pole and Chain Saw

• $30 per branch or $75 per hour depending on project.

Pick Up and Delivery

• We are happy to pick up any materials needed for your project (mulch, seed, etc.) 
• $100 per hour plus round trip mileage.
  

Rates are subject to vary depending on project complexity. 

Additional Charges/ Fees

Additional fees are in addition to our hourly rate. We don't like to have to add extra on, but there are circumstances that we have encountered that have warranted a need for these. These fees only apply to certain situations, and we will discuss these with you. ​

Mileage

• $0.95 per mile one way if over 15 miles from home base. 

• We based this off the NYS mileage reimbursement rate for 2025 ($0.70) and added on a little for using a truck and hauling a loaded trailer.
• This will vary if there are multiple accounts in an area. It isn't fair to charge each account the total mileage, or charge just the first stop with the large travel amount. It gets spread evenly.

NYS Sales Tax

• NYS Sales Tax will be added to the total invoice. NYS Department of Taxation and Finance Publication 862 (PDF) details this. If you are tax exempt, we will need a copy of your Form ST 119.1.
• Washington and Warren County 7%, Essex County 8%
• Subject to change

Processing Fees

• Various forms of payments charge additional fees. We are looking for ways to keep this to a minimum. These fees are subject to change. These fees are shown on invoices.

High Trimmer Use

• $20 per hour extra. We are a mowing service, and while string trimming is part of the job, some properties just have more than others. We are talking about properties with areas that mowers cannot get to (think steep hills, soft soils, wet spots). Typically, if we spend more time trimming than mowing, this fee will be added in. 

Overgrowth

• 6+" vegetation overgrowth: $30 per hour extra. This covers extra wear and tear to our equipment received from the added workload and due to having to put other customers on hold. When grass gets over a certain length, we have to slow down and go over everything at least twice to keep things to our standard. 
• 12+" vegetation overgrowth: $60 per hour extra. This covers the 6+" overgrowth, and for the same reasons. 

Payment Methods

Payments must be received prior to scheduling service.

Credit/ Debit Card (online)

• Our most utilized form of payment. Additional processing fees apply, and vary by payment method. The exact amount will be calculated and displayed when paying.
• Online payments can be made weekly/bi-weekly.

​Cash

• Payments by cash are accepted up front on at least a monthly basis. 

Check

• Payments by check are accepted up front on at least a  monthly basis
